The Kauffman Gallery at Shippensburg University is hosting an exhibition of contemporary prints from Pace Prints, New York City, NY. The exhibit features a diversity of prints produced using traditional and new approaches of printmaking. Large prints, small prints, black and white prints and prints in color, all express unique vision by the artist.
“Staging exhibits, like the Pace Prints exhibit, are significant because they bring extremely high quality visual art to our community. Exhibits like this, from New York City contemporary art galleries, are important because they function as an instructional resource for not only courses taught in the Art & Design Department but for many disciplines across the university,” said professor Michael Campbell, professor of art and director of Kauffman Gallery.
Pace Prints is a publisher of contemporary fine art prints and a gallery showing and offering for sale a wide variety of prints by contemporary artist from the 1960s to present.
The exhibit is open until February 26. Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Wednesdays, 6:30-8:30 p.m. and Fridays 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
