Mark Spicka, History – Spicka was recently awarded a two-month travel grant by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) to research in Germany a project entitled “ Sport Angling, the German Conservation Movement, and German Identity, 1945-1975.” The grant is for this fall while he is on sabbatical.
