Margaret Lucia, Music and Theatre Arts – Lucia presented a lecture-recital on January 30 at the University of South Florida, in Tampa, as a part of the third annual Composition in Asia Symposium and Festival. Her presentation was entitled “Beauty in Simplicity: an Exploration of Haiku in piano music by Western composers”. She also performed music by Spanish composer Mercedes Zavala on a festival concert the following Friday, January 31.
