The university is committed to continuing its annual StewardSHIP Week and Earth Day celebration virtually and is inviting the entire community to take part. Throughout the week, faculty experts and students will share their sustainability tips in videos, social media posts and will hear from virtual guest speakers. To kick the week off, members of the Ship community shared what sustainability means to them.
As a leader in sustainability, Shippensburg University is home to the Center for Land Use and Sustainability, an organic campus farm, the Bird Run Interdisciplinary Research Laboratory and many more forward facing environmental initiatives.
