May 22 marks a Day of Kindness in Pennsylvania, but at Shippensburg University kindness is more than a day, it’s the Raider Way. Each year the campus community records over 50,000 hours of service, spreading kindness and compassion as part of #ShipServes. While some members of the campus community have personal causes they champion, the university also offers volunteer opportunities through long-standing relationships with several service organizations in the region including:
- Central PA Food Bank
- The Harbor
- Hound Packs
- Katie’s Place
- King’s Kettle Food Pantry
- Shippensburg Community Resource Coalition
- Shippensburg Produce Outreach
- The Gleaning Project
Today we reflect on moments of kindness and hope they inspire you to share an act of kindness.
