Kimberley (Hornberger) Heagy ’78, fifth-generation owner of H.F. Hornberger Bakery in Bensalem, is no stranger to creativity. Heagy creates beautiful handmade pastries, donuts, danishes, cakes, and more, honoring the roots of her German immigrant grandparents who started the bakery in 1912. But when COVID canceled typical spring celebrations and get-togethers, Heagy needed to think outside the box to keep her family tradition alive.
