Follow along with senior psychology major Izzi Ortiz as she visits Etter Health Center for asymptomatic COVID-19 testing. Prepared with her face mask and a cell phone, Ortiz documented her journey through the process in an effort to show her fellow students just how easy testing is.
“Just to ensure the safety of yourself and others, it’s just a smart choice because you never know, you could be asymptomatic,” said Ortiz.
Ortiz shared every step of the testing process from paper work to the nose swab.
“It really wasn’t bad like I thought it was going to be. My eyes watered a bit,” she explained.
Ship is offering free asymptomatic COVID-19 testing to all students at Etter Health Center. Students can schedule a testing appointment by calling 717-477-1458. Students are encouraged to take advantage of this voluntary testing initiative in an effort to stop the spread of COVID-19 and keep campus open.
