History alumnus Dr.David Beecher ’14M wrote a piece for the Paulick Report, a Thoroughbred racing publication, titled “Right to Ride, Presented by the Kentucky Derby Museum: The Racing World Reacts to Female Jockeys.” Beecher examines how racing has reacted to female jockeys and their path taken in pursuit of race riding.
