Hello Friends and Colleagues,
I hope this email finds you and yours well. As we roll into 2021, we also roll into a new phase of mandatory PASSHE training. PASSHE training is mandatory to protect you, your co-workers, our students, and our university community.
We continue to use the Everfi platform to deliver our mandatory training modules. This training season we have added to the standard modules new learning opportunities about diversity and inclusion, accommodating disabilities and on managing bias. We hope you find all of the material illuminating and insightful.
The five mandatory modules are:
- Accommodating People with Disabilities
- Preventing Harassment and Discrimination: Title IX/Clery
- Protecting Youth
- Diversity and Inclusion EDU
- Managing Bias
Please watch for an email from Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education <automated-message@everfi-foundry.net> and call me at 717.477.1161 with any questions and concerns.
Note that the portal does not use our single sign on (your University log in and password) so you will need to set this up the first time you enter the Everfi platform. As you complete the sessions, Everfi will bookmark your spot, so you can move in and out of the portal over the time it takes you to finish each course.
P.S. If you are a new hire – Welcome to the Ship! You do not have to duplicate the training in which PASSHE enrolled you upon hire.
Thank you,
Stephanie A. Jirard
