The Shippensburg University Music and Theatre Arts Department presents the Shippensburg University Community Orchestra on November 21 at 3:00 p.m. at the Luhrs Performing Arts Center. Directed by Dr. Mark L. Hartman, associate professor of music, the community orchestra is comprised of nearly 65 university students, faculty and staff members, community members, advanced high school students and professional musicians. It features carefully selected professional string players who mentor and instruct others within their sections.
The performance is free and open to the public. Masks are required in the Luhrs Center for all events
