Dear Campus Community,
In recent weeks, I have had numerous conversations across campus with students and the leadership of our Student Government Association about the values that make Ship a community. We know, in our hearts, what it means to be a Raider, but it is just as important to say what we believe. We condemn – all day, every day – any and all racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and the differential treatment of others based on perceived ethnicity, color, religion, creed, ability, marital or veteran’s status.
Let’s join together in our Hate Has No Home Here campaign and carry our message of inclusion and condemnation of discrimination forward on our campus and beyond. We ARE one campus, many cultures.
