Dear Colleagues,
Beginning February 15, Shippensburg University will be implementing Duo Two-Factor Authentication for all access to Microsoft 365. Duo Two-Factor Authentication will be required during first time setup and will be required occasionally when logging into a Microsoft 365 application on or off campus. This important safeguard is being implemented to protect not only the university, but you and your personal information in real time based upon increased cyber threats on systems at higher education institutions throughout the country, including Shippensburg University.
Applications and services affected by this security enhancement include:
- Email and related services accessed from a webpage (mail.ship.edu), (spam.ship.edu)
- Email accessed via app on your personal and organizational devices (phone, tablet, and computer)
- Office.com and Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Teams, OneDrive on phone, tablet, and computer)
