Sophomore marketing major Jenna Hernandez is the winner of the $5000 vaccination/scholarship incentive provided by the Shippensburg University Foundation.
“I am beyond thrilled to be chosen for the $5,000 vaccination scholarship. In the pandemic world that we live in today, being vaccinated is the one way we can all do our part to keep ourselves and others safe,” said Hernandez.
Last semester the university and SU Foundation announced the incentive program offering scholarships for students providing proof of vaccination. Students who participated were entered into a drawing for $5,000, $2,500 and $500 awards.
Unvaccinated individuals are at greatest risk, and vaccinations and boosters are the most powerful tool to reduce the chance of acute illness and death. The university continues to offer convenient vaccination opportunities for students. Schedule your shot today!
