Shippensburg University Army ROTC hosted their annual commissioning ceremony on Saturday, May 7 in the Luhrs Center. During the event 16 cadets were commissioned as second lieutenants. The ceremony featured comments from Ltc. Michael Firmin, chair of the military science department, Colonel Robert Lissner, Retired, and President President Charles Patterson. The 16 cadets celebrated their graduation from Shippensburg University later in the day.
