Dr. Luis Melara, Mathematics, was recently appointed member of the Career Opportunities Committee for the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics. This committee serves as a resource for current information concerning the availability and demand of trained individuals in Applied Mathematics and Computational Science. SIAM is an international community with over 14,000 individual members.
