Dr. Scott Drzyzga attended the 2024 Pennsylvania GIS Conference at State College and presented his work titled: “New Datums and a new State Plane Coordinate System Are Coming in 2025.” He also mentored two “Advanced GIS” students, Theresa Haug (GR) and Ekaterina Hampton (UG), who presented their map of the migrant crisis in the mountainous Darién Gap region along the Colombia-Panama border.
