Following the rally, participants will meet at the Fountain in front of Old Main for the march, which will end at the CUB Multipurpose Room. The march is sponsored by the African American Organization (AFRO-AM) and the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs (MSA).

“This event is not only about honoring the legacy of Dr. King but also about carrying his vision forward,” said a representative of MSA. “Dr. Mumin’s dedication to equity and education makes him an inspiring voice for this important occasion.”

The March for Humanity aims to inspire individuals to reflect on Dr. King’s mission and life-long pursuit of justice and equality, encouraging others to follow in his footsteps. Community members are invited to join the march and stand together to celebrate MLK Jr.
