Henry Mohl appointed to Council of Trustees

Shippensburg University sophomore Henry Mohl has been selected to serve as the student representative on the Shippensburg University Council of Trustees. His appointment was approved by Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education’s Board of Governors on April 15, 2026.

Mohl, a political science major with a minor in military science is a native of the Pottsville area and an active member of the campus community. As an ROTC cadet, he serves in a variety of roles including Cannon Crew captain and Raider Challenge co-captain. In these positions he helps to plan and lead training, organize major events, and brief battalion leadership on current events.

“I am humbled and honored to be appointed as the next student trustee and to represent the student body and serve as their voice on the Council of Trustees. I plan to take this unique opportunity to strengthen the relationship between students and the university. I take pride in being a part of Ship’s diverse community and hope to provide a positive impact to the university,’ said Mohl.

Mohl also serves as the secretary of the Men’s Rugby Club, participates in the Raider Run Club, ROTC Bible study and intramural sports.
