Each year, Shippensburg University welcomes the local community to campus for the Treats No Tricks Halloween festival. The event, organized through the Office of Community Engagement, is a service opportunity for students, but also a moment of connection for the campus and local community.
While the COVID-19 pandemic required many changes to the festival this year, nearly 100 student volunteers were still able to provide some Halloween fun for the over 150 children who attended the socially-distanced grab and go event. Kids were treated to individually packaged candy and craft kits to enjoy at home.
