Shippensburg University invites you attend the H.O.P.E. (Helping Our People Excel) Diversity Scholarship Program for academically talented and financially deserving students on March 30 at 7:00 p.m.

This year’s virtual event features Philadelphia Eagle football player and community leader, Rodney McLeod. McLeod is one of the top safeties in the NFL and was instrumental in helping lead the Philadelphia Eagles to a Super Bowl title in 2017. Additionally, during this past season Rodney was the Week 2 NFLPA Community MVP and the Eagles’ nominee for the prestigious Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award.

Rodney has also been on the forefront of several important community initiatives such as voter registration education and social justice. Since 2018, Rodney has been a leading member of the Eagles Social Justice Leadership Council to help continue the conversation on important social issues. Alongside his wife, Rodney launched the Change Our Future Fund, which focuses on educational empowerment, community issues and raising money for cancer research.
