This year’s ShipFest kicks off on Thursday, April 29 in the Luhrs Center at 8:00 p.m. with a comedy show highlighting Karlous Miller and Darren Brand from MTV’s Wild N’ Out.

To make up for all the cancelled shows this past year, Ship students, faculty and staff can attend using their Ship ID. Seating is available for a little over 300 people per COVID-19 guidelines, but anyone can watch remotely using the provided Zoom link.

The second event of ShipFest’s two-part celebration takes place Saturday, May 1 in Parking Lot C7 Lot and the Hockey Rink at 7:00 p.m. with tons of carnival-themed fun.

The carnival features an American Ninja Warrior inflatable obstacle course, a mini version of the Big Balls from WipeOut, a see-through two-person race rock wall, a 20-foot stunt jump, bumper boats, bungee trampolines, dual mechanical bulls and more!

Tons of carnival-theme food and a few student acts will also appear at the event, including Noah and the Rubber Band, third place finisher at Ship’s Got Talent.

Clubs and organizations are welcome to table to make up for a lack of opportunity over the past year. They may use ShipFest to share information, collect member sign-ups or fundraise for Greek Week.

Everyone is welcome to come out with friends and enjoy ShipFest’s one-night events.
