Highlight of events
Thursday, August 19 – Move-in Day – Welcome new Raiders and their families as they move into their new homes.
Friday, August 20 – 9:00 a.m. – Convocation – LPAC – New Raiders officially kick off their academic career at Ship during this annual ceremony. Students will take the academic pledge and hear from faculty guest speaker Dr. Alison Watts.
Friday, August 20 – 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. – Big Red’s Cookout – Hockey Rink – Celebrate new students and take a turn at the dunk tank.
Saturday, August 21, Noon – 7:00 p.m. – Dear World Project – CUB MPR – Get your professional brain tattoo (temporary) and showcase your story to the Raider community.
Saturday, August 21, 10:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. – Breakfast Bingo – Reisner Dining Hall – Enjoy your breakfast favorites and win prizes with this popular campus tradition.
