Tanya Miller, assistant director of Sports Medicine in Athletics Department, attended the Team Up for Sports Safety (TUFSS) meeting in Pittsburgh, PA on October 7, 2021, hosted by the Korey Stringer Institute (KSI), the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA), and the National Football League (NFL). She attended this meeting as the Governmental Affairs Chair of the Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers’ Society. The meeting focused on secondary school sport safety topics such as heat illness and emergency action plans.
