Dr. Rahaman and his co-authors’ new study, titled: Beyond play: cultivating consumer loyalty through compelling flow experiences in video gaming demonstrates that compelling flow experiences in video games significantly strengthen players’ loyalty and their positive behavioral intentions toward the game and brand. By linking flow, loyalty, and downstream behaviors, the study advances understanding of how game design can strategically cultivate enduring consumer–brand relationships beyond mere entertainment. The manuscript was published in the Journal for Consumer Marketing.
