Dasha Rhodes, Social Work & Gerontology- Rhodes successfully defended the dissertation proposal: “Am I Next: An Examination of Black Americans Anxiety During Police Encounters.” In addition, Rhodes, along with David L. Robinson, Paul C. Archibald, Laurens Van Sluytman, published an article, “A Decade’s Tale: Consent Decrees and Police Use of Disproportionate Excessive Force with Communities of Color” in Advances in Social Work. Rhodes was also a panelist member on “So You Think You Want a PhD?” with the National Association of Black Social Workers (NABSW) of the Baltimore Legacy Chapter on 1/26 in Baltimore, MD.
