Jane Brooker, Irma Hunt and Victoria Kerr will present at the 2020 Business Education Research Conference for the National Business Education Assocaition in Boston on April 9. Their presentation is titled “Suitable App: Increasing student engagement and organization awareness through the use of an app in an undergraduate business course.” They will discuss how a college of business, collaborating with a career center, helped students develop specific career readiness skill sets to enhance the overall undergraduate experience, and to prepare students to transition to the workforce. Engaging students through a gamification app helped encourage future graduates to be positioned for career advancement.
