Ship ROTC alumnus, Todd Skiles ’86, was featured in Authority Magazine, which provides “leadership lessons from authorities in business, film, sports and tech“, in an article titled, Ryder System’s Todd Skiles: “How To Survive And Thrive During A Time Of Crisis; 5 Lessons I Learned From My Military Experience”, by Chris Quiocho.
Skiles ’86 is, “the Senior Vice President of Sales for Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) and Dedicated Transportation Solutions (DTS) at Ryder System, Inc. …Under his leadership, sales revenue has grown by more than 130% and sales productivity has doubled.”
The article highlighted how Skiles ’86 used his military training, which began with a two year ROTC scholarship at Shippensburg University and culminated in a deployment to Desert Storm in 1990, to enhance his leadership in his 34 year career at Ryder.
