Amber Norwood, psychology, recently co-authored an article entitled “Efficacy of Ketamine for Major Depressive Episodes at 2, 4, and 6-weeks Post-Treatment: A Meta-Analysis” in the peer-reviewed journal “Psychopharmacology” (5-year impact factor = 3.2). The article was based on the thesis of a 2020 graduate (Ashley Conley who was first author), for which Dr. Norwood served as the thesis chair. In addition, other co-authors included Katie Barber (current graduate student in the Department of Counseling and College Student Personnel), Dr. Tom Hatvany (assistant professor of psychology), and Dr. James D. Griffith (professor of psychology).
