The student club, Colleges Against Cancer, is asking the campus community to join their “Pink Out” and wear pink on October 21 to support the fight against breast cancer. The club is also hosting the “Breastival” on the same date from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the CUB Amphitheater. The event will help raise awareness about breast cancer.

“This month is Breast Cancer Awareness month, which is represented by the color pink. Breast Cancer is the most diagnosed cancer today. In addition, just like any cancer, it can be just as tragic. Cancer can turn a life upside down and affect loved ones. Our hope is that we can get the campus united as one to represent the same cause and to symbolize the hard fight against Breast Cancer. ” said Sarah Wink, club president.
