Shippensburg University student, Rachael Rudis, was surprised with the Department of the Army Commander’s Award for Public Service during the annual Veterans Day ceremony. Rudis organized a student club that collected and sent packages to troops serving overseas. She was presented the award by Lt. Col. Chris Morton, chair of the Military Science Department.
