Matthew Fetzer, criminal justice, has just published a book entitled “The Measurement of Hate Crimes in America” as a result of his sabbatical research from the spring. This book provides a single source for information on hate crime legislation, the measurement of hate crime in the United States, how hate crimes are unique relative to non-bias crimes, underreporting by victims, and the law enforcement response.
