MSW alumna, Becca Zelner, works as a program support assistant for the federal government, specifically with the Small Business Administration. She earned her BSW at Ship in 2015 and her MSW in 2018. Zelner wanted to pursue her MSW to grow professionally and “to become a more well-rounded individual.” She said, “all of these things I accomplished while I got my master’s at Shippensburg.” Also, the professors and small class sizes left a lasting impression and Zelner would encourage anyone considering an MSW to go to Shippensburg. “It really is a wonderful school, and I wouldn’t change my academic experience for anything.”
