Mr. Aaron W Dobbs, Lehman Library, was elected 2021-2023 president of the Library Support Staff Interests Round Table (LSSIRT), a round table of the American Library Association (ALA). LSSIRT is the ALA unit focused on issues of concern to library support staff, including training programs, education, career development, job duties and responsibilities, and on fostering communication and networking among all levels of library personnel. The American Library Association is the oldest and largest library association in the world, representing over 50,000 members, and provides leadership for the development, promotion, and improvement of library and information services nationally and internationally.
