Dr. Allison Carey was featured as an expert in two documentaries released in 2022, including A Good Life (a WXXI production, PBS affiliate), which takes an intimate look into the lives of six adults living with I/DD and their families, and The Best We’ve Got: The Carl Erskine Story (Ted Green films) about Baseball legend Carl Erskine, including his role as father to a son with disabilities and his advocacy of Special Olympics.
