Stephanie Jirard, assistant provost for Graduate Studies, chief diversity officer and Title IX coordinator, spoke at the June 3 Black Lives Matter Rally in Carlisle. Her speech was highlighted in an article in the Penn Live.
During her speech she encouraged everyone to speak up when they witness racial injustice.
“You have to be that tattletale. You’ve got to be that snitch. You have to speak up,” Jirard said.
