As part of their senior project, mechanical engineering majors Erika Ebersole ’22, Khiem Thieu ’22 and Richard Gordon ’22 and computer engineering major Russell Stevens designed and build a javelin throwing training device. Ebersole, a javelin thrower at Ship, came up with the idea for the project after struggling to train during winter months.
The completed device now lives in the Athletic Department for use by student-athletes.
