Dorlisa Minnick, Social Work & Gerontology, attended the Society for Social Work Research in January, 2020 where she co-chaired the Special Interest Group of Critical and Radical Social Workers for Justice and Change; co-presented an interactive poster titled, “Assessing the Death Café: Discussing Death and Dying in Social Work” with Dr. Andrea Barrick; and co-presented an oral paper session with Dr. Lyman and Sonya Payne, MSW on “Preserving Affordable Housing through Predicting and Mapping Neighborhood Distress”.
